ALBANY, Mo. - As students return to the classrooms in the Albany R-3 School District, the Board of Education will be keeping a close eye on the budget as the year goes on.
Superintendent Dustin Freeman told KXCV/KRNW that they are expecting a reduction at the state level.
Superintendent Freeman says they're keeping an eye on expenditures as well, especially since they've spent more money this year on cleaning supplies.
